Commercial flower growing in Uganda has made significant economic contributions, but it has also raised environmental concerns, particularly water contamination. This paper reviews the history of commercial flower growing in Uganda, the environmental impacts of this industry, and the challenges and opportunities for sustainable flower farming in the country.
