Abstract
The underground positioning of urban area cables presents a unique challenge in detecting and addressing grounding faults. This study delves into the classification reasons for grounding faults in urban cables and equips power personnel with essential techniques, analysis methods, and advanced countermeasures. Detecting and addressing grounding faults promptly is crucial for enhancing cable operation efficiency and fault handling speed, aligning with the overarching goal of cost reduction and efficiency enhancement in power engineering operations. This research aims to maximize profits while optimizing maintenance and daily operation efficiency.
